Mr James Cockerill

James attended Newcastle Dental School for his undergraduate training, and following five enjoyable years moved to London to complete his Dental Foundation Training.

 

During this training James developed an interest in the surgical aspect of dentistry and developed skill by completing Dental Core Training posts in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Peterborough City Hospital. Whilst working in these positions, James also completed postgraduate examinations, which gained him Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

 

James returned to Lytham, where he grew up to, to provide care in a general practice setting, and enjoys managing patients in a holistic manner to help improve their smiles. He regularly attends CPD and courses with a view to continually improving the level of care that he can provide patients.

 

Outside of dentistry James enjoys playing a variety of sports and regularly attends to gym to keep fit (or at least tries to!). James enjoys traveling and has even managed to link this with dentistry by providing dental care to schools in Tonga whilst at university.
